STJobs will be organising a new job fair in March, known as the STJobs Express Fair 2015.
Admission is free. It is recommended that visitors use the MRT, especially on Sunday, to avoid possible road closures and traffic diversions.
- Saturday 28 March, 10am to 7pm (Open to Singaporeans and PRs only)
- Sunday 29 March, 10am to 6pm (Open to Singaporeans, PRs and foreigners with valid work passes or student passes from local institutions)
- Venue: Suntec Convention Centre, Halls 405 & 406 (Level 4) 1 Raffles Boulevard, Suntec City, Singapore 039593 (Nearest MRT: Esplanade)
This fair will allow job seekers to touch base with a sizeable number of exhibitors offering thousands of recruitment or training opportunities and programmes through networking with representatives from various organisations, and getting to learn more about what each organisation has to offer.
Those who are seeking a career transformation or transition, or who need professional advice on building a good foundation for their career aspirations, can consult a career coach.
The career coaches can help uncover hidden talents of job seekers,tap into their personal strengths, and identify goals for career success. There are limited free Career Coaching sessions available, so interested parties should pre-register and book their preferred time slot before the fair.
As personality plays an important role in the job search process, visitors at the fair can take a free psychometric test* that will provide a comprehensive insight into their personality. Their test results will enable them to better understand themselves and discover what jobs are suitable for them. The usual price of one such test is $28.
*The psychometric test is free for STJobs members. Users can register for an account on STJobs.sg to do the test prior and get their results analysed at the fair.
There will also be daily lucky draws with attractive prizes such as smartphones and tablets worth up to $5,000 to be won. Visitors will receive a lucky draw card at the registration counter that they can use to collect stamps from four different zones within the fair to be eligible for the lucky draws.
Visitors to the STJobs Express Fair 2015 are encouraged to pre-register for the fair at STJobs.sg/Express to gain faster access as well as book their time slots for the free career coaching sessions.
