Lou Yau is launching its inaugural One Person Set Day on 28 August 2019.
Scheduled just three days ahead of Malaysia’s Merdeka Day, this event seeks to draw diners to savour Lou Yau’s improved signature Ipoh Bean Sprouts Chicken (One Person Set) with this first-of-its-kind offer as well as take the opportunity to commemorate our neighbouring country’s independence.
Opened since 2012, Lou Yau has been known for serving authentic Ipoh Nga Choy Kai.
Lou Yau also offers diners a range of Malaysia dishes in their menu featuring a taste of Malaysia in dishes such as Penang Hae Mee and Klang Bah Kut Teh. However, the most popular dish in Lou Yau’s menu remains to be their signature Ipoh Bean Sprouts Chicken (One Person Set).
The most popular dish from Ipoh Malaysia, Lou Yau’s version of Nga Choy Kai is a satisfying one person set comprising of poached speciality kampong chicken drenched with chef’s special sauce that is tender in every bite. A bowl of silky smooth Malaysia-imported Ipoh hor fun basking in a secret recipe chicken soup drizzled with prawn oil makes the best pairing to the kampong chicken. To complete the set, quality crunchy bean sprouts and a homemade chilli and a ginger & spring onion dip accompanies the meal.
‘Too Good To Share’
As a prelude to the announcement of the One Person Set Day, Lou Yau launched its campaign #IDONTSHAREFOOD, consisting of a main campaign video featuring the food tug-of-war between a couple.
The video sets out to portray the realistic daily struggles of couples going through similar food-sharing woes. Through this, it also seeks to showcase that the goodness presented in the Lou Yau One Person Set is too good to share.
