FairPrice Group extending its daily discount schemes for vulnerable groups to till end-2026

FairPrice Group (FPG) has announced the extension of its daily discount schemes for vulnerable groups, reaffirming its commitment to keep daily essentials within reach for those in need across Singapore.

FPG’s daily discounts for Seniors, Pioneer (PG) and Merdeka Generation (MG), Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) Blue and Orange cardholders will be extended till the end of 2026.

FPG launched its discount scheme for CHAS Orange cardholders in October 2024, making it the first and only major retailer in Singapore to do so. The discount scheme is funded by FPG’s philanthropic arm FairPrice Foundation (FPF). Through the CHAS Orange discount, FPF aims to support a wider community of families and individuals in need with bridging the gap in access to daily essentials.

To benefit from these discount schemes, eligible customers just need to verify their information on the FPG App with Myinfo once, and use the app to pay for their purchases at checkout. Alternatively, they can present either their physical or digital (through the Singpass app) membership cards (PG, MG, CHAS Blue or Orange) to staff upon checkout – to cashiers at cashier counters, and to staff at self-checkout counters after selecting the relevant discount option on the screen. The discounts are valid for up to $200 per transaction per day.

Throughout 2025, FPG returned more than $25 million to customers and members through Linkpoints redemption and its Senior, PG, MG, CHAS Blue and Orange discount schemes. FPG currently offers the discounts below to support vulnerable groups, and these daily benefits will be extended till 31 December 2026.
