SingFinance is offering up to 1.80% p.a. on fresh-fund Singapore Dollar fixed deposits for personal account holders, with its latest daily special rates effective from 16 October 2026. π°
The headline rate is available with a minimum placement of S$10,000 for the 6-month, 12-month, 18-month and 24-month tenors, whether placed online or over the counter. Smaller placements can also qualify for promotional interest rates, with online fixed deposits starting from S$1,000.
The maximum rate remains unchanged from the 19 September 2026 SingFinance fixed deposit promotion, but several longer-tenor rates have improved. Most notably, the S$10,000 tier for 18 months has increased from 1.60% to 1.80% p.a., while the 24-month rate has risen from 1.50% to 1.80% p.a. π

Online placement rates

| Tenor | From S$1,000 | From S$10,000 |
|---|---|---|
| 1 month | 1.15% p.a. | 1.30% p.a. |
| 3 months | 1.45% p.a. | 1.50% p.a. |
| 6 months | 1.50% p.a. | 1.80% p.a. |
| 12 months | 1.50% p.a. | 1.80% p.a. |
| 18 months | 1.50% p.a. | 1.80% p.a. |
| 24 months | 1.50% p.a. | 1.80% p.a. |
For the S$1,000 online placement tier, the highest displayed rate is 1.50% p.a., available across the 6-month, 12-month, 18-month and 24-month tenors. The 24-month rate at this tier has improved from 1.35% p.a. in September to 1.50% p.a. under the latest schedule.
Over-the-counter placement rates
Customers who prefer visiting a SingFinance branch can place fresh-fund fixed deposits starting from S$10,000 at the following rates.
| Tenor | From S$10,000 |
|---|---|
| 1 month | 1.30% p.a. |
| 3 months | 1.50% p.a. |
| 6 months | 1.80% p.a. |
| 12 months | 1.80% p.a. |
| 18 months | 1.80% p.a. |
| 24 months | 1.80% p.a. |
β At the S$10,000 minimum placement level, the published online and over-the-counter promotional rates are identical for all six tenors. The main difference is the placement method rather than the interest rate.
π‘ Considering a one-month placement? SingFinance’s GoSavers Account currently earns 1.30% p.a. on the first S$250,000, compared with 1.15% p.a. for the S$1,000-tier one-month fixed deposit and 1.30% p.a. for the S$10,000 tier. GoSavers also allows funds to remain accessible without a fixed lock-in period, although its savings interest rate can change. Check the latest SingFinance savings and fixed deposit rates before deciding.
Important: These special rates apply to fresh funds and personal accounts only. SingFinance also offers regular board-rate fixed deposits with placements starting from S$500, but the promotional rates above have separate minimum deposit requirements. All rates are subject to change without prior notice, and terms and conditions apply.
Which fixed deposit rates have increased?
Compared with the 19 September 2026 schedule, the latest changes are concentrated on longer placements.
- π 18 months, S$10,000 tier: Increased from 1.60% to 1.80% p.a., a rise of 0.20 percentage points.
- π 24 months, S$10,000 tier: Increased from 1.50% to 1.80% p.a., a rise of 0.30 percentage points.
- π 24 months, S$1,000 online tier: Increased from 1.35% to 1.50% p.a., a rise of 0.15 percentage points.
- β Other displayed rates: The 1-month, 3-month, 6-month and 12-month rates remain unchanged across their respective placement tiers, while the 18-month S$1,000 online rate also remains at 1.50% p.a.
For savers considering a longer commitment, the improvement means the 18-month and 24-month S$10,000 tiers now earn the same annualised 1.80% rate as the 6-month and 12-month options. A longer tenor does not increase the annual percentage rate, but it can secure that rate for a longer placement period.
How to place a SingFinance fixed deposit
Fresh funds for online placements must first be transferred from an external bank into a SingFinance savings account. The corresponding amount is then deducted from that account to fund the new fixed deposit.
For new SingFinance customers
First-time retail customers can begin by opening a SingFinance GoSavers Account. The account is available to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 16 and above with a valid Singpass account.
GoSavers can be opened digitally through SIF Mobile using MyInfo. The account has no initial deposit requirement, minimum account balance, monthly service fee, fall-below fee or early account-closure fee under the published account features. π±
- Open a GoSavers Account through SIF Mobile using MyInfo with Singpass.
- Once activated, transfer the required fresh funds into GoSavers via FAST from an external bank or non-financial institution supporting the transfer service.
- Open a new fixed deposit through SIF Mobile, select the amount and tenor, and verify the interest rate against the official SingFinance fixed deposit rates before confirming the placement.
For existing SingFinance customers
Customers with an active SingFinance fixed deposit or savings account can use the existing-customer placement process.
- Transfer the required fresh funds into an existing SingFinance savings account through FAST.
- Log in to SIF Mobile and follow the available fixed deposit placement instructions.
- For customers with an existing fixed deposit account, select its account number from the Account Summary screen and tap Place New FD Online.
- Customers without an existing fixed deposit account should follow the app’s new fixed deposit account-opening process. Review the amount, tenor and applicable promotional rate before confirmation.
For transfer details and eligible participating institutions, refer to the SingFinance FAST information page.
For branch placements
Over-the-counter customers can visit a SingFinance branch with the original NRIC and placement funds. A minimum S$10,000 fresh-fund deposit is required for the displayed special rates. Branch staff can assist with the application and placement process.

Things to consider before locking in funds
While 1.80% p.a. is available across several tenors, the most suitable placement depends on the amount available, the expected need for funds and the preferred commitment period. π
β οΈ At maturity: SingFinance fixed deposits may be renewed automatically at the prevailing board rate, which could be lower than the original 1.80% p.a. promotional rate. Customers can choose to renew the principal and interest, renew the principal only, or withdraw the full maturity amount into a linked savings account. Check the maturity instructions before confirming a placement.
For comparison, HL Bank’s promotional rates from 14 October 2026 are higher across the same four tenors at the S$10,000 online placement level.
| Tenor | SingFinance | HL Bank | HL Bank difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 months | 1.80% | 2.05% | +0.25 pp π |
| 12 months | 1.80% | 2.05% | +0.25 pp π |
| 18 months | 1.80% | 2.12% | +0.32 pp π |
| 24 months | 1.80% | 2.15% | +0.35 pp π |
All rates are per annum, with a minimum S$10,000 online placement. For a 12-month S$10,000 deposit, HL Bank’s 2.05% works out to approximately S$205 in interest, versus S$180 at SingFinance’s 1.80%. HL Bank requires an account and HLB Connect access but does not insist on fresh funds, while SingFinance accepts S$10,000 over the counter at the same promotional rate. HL Bank’s branch minimum is S$100,000. See the HL Bank fixed deposit promotion from 14 October 2026 for details.

Final thoughts
SingFinance’s latest fresh-fund fixed deposit schedule offers a wider selection of tenors earning its headline 1.80% p.a. rate, with both 18-month and 24-month S$10,000 placements now matching the 6-month and 12-month offers. The S$1,000 online tier also provides a more accessible entry point for smaller savings amounts.
For funds that can remain untouched throughout the selected tenor, the revised rates may be worth considering alongside other Singapore fixed deposit promotions. Before transferring any money, consult the official SingFinance fixed deposit page for the prevailing rates, eligibility requirements and full terms and conditions. Rates may change without prior notice.
