The Library@orchard is now open at the Orchard area. Located in the heart of Singapore’s shopping district, the library has unique features found nowhere else in other public libraries
The library was conceptualised from ground up using design thinking, in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic
Divided into The Studio and The Loft, library@orchard is set to spoil visitors with its vast array of programmes and reading choices.
Featuring a collection size of approximately 100,000 titles, designated display areas and 3 programme zones, library@orchard works both as a community space and a contemplative cavern.
Below is The Book Tree, where library patrons can place library books of their choice to recommend to fellow visitors.
There’s also the Cocoon, for visitors who prefer a personal space for reading
