UPDATE: This workaround appears to not work anymore.
Facebook recently released a new layout to its news feed which places ‘top news’ at the top of the feed and then follows it with recent news as you scroll down.
The old version separates the 2 feeds into Most Recent and Top News while the new version combines them into one feed. There’s been some aaahs and boooos around, so if you wish to revert back to the old version, there’a a workaround available
Thanks to SoAwkward’s tweet, the workaround is simple. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of any Facebook page, and change your language to English (UK).
Or you can simply click here to go directly to the change language page. How long this fix will last, we don’t know.
It’s only a matter of time before the UK language gets the new News Feed. Till then, we recommend you get used to the new version.
