The Infocomm Media Development Authority has teamed up with the traditional coffeehouse, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, to give away FREE drinks when you perform a simple task: test if your mobile broadband is up to speed through the IMconnected app.
Simply download the IMconnected app, run the mobile data speed test and you can redeem a FREE drink at the counter*!
The IMconnected app utilises voluntary crowdsourcing to improve the quality of experience for mobile broadband users. Designed to run in the background of mobile phone with minimal battery and data usage, the app only gathers mobile connection experience and information such as broadband speed, latency and coverage on mobile cellular networks such as 3G and 4G, as well as Wi-Fi networks. This helps IMDA and your telcos to assess mobile broadband performance, and identify how to improve your mobile experience.
