The Royal Mail invites guests to show love and appreciation to the very special woman in their life this Mother’s Day with lovingly crafted menus inspired by home-cooked recipes enjoyed by families from all over the world.
The heart-warming Mother’s Day Set Dinner Menus are available exclusively from 8 to 10 May 2014 and cater to vegetarian mothers an equally scrumptious vegetarian menu.
The main Five Course Set Dinner starts off with a home-style Chicken Liver Parfait followed by a Green Asparagus Soup with US Bay Scallops, Tobiko and Crème Fraiche.
The main course for the menu is a choice of a heartwarming Tomato Braised Osso Buco or a Baked Miso Black Cod with Heirloom Carrot and Leek Flowers.
Pre-dessert is a Lychee Granité with Rose Jelly and Pomelo Salad. Take a walk down memory lane with your mother or child with dessert, the Cherry & Almond Cake, a moist and tasty family-favourite dessert item.
In the equally delectable Vegetarian Set Dinner menu, dinner kicks off with an interesting twist to the regularly meat-based dish, a Portobello Mushroom Carpaccio followed by the Green Asparagus Soup with Vegetarian Caviar.
Dumpling Chat Potatoes, handmade with care in the restaurant’s very own kitchen, are given an extra touch to mark the special occasion with Black Truffle, Saffron, Glazed Butter and Parmesan Cheese. The meal is made complete with Oolong Tea Poached Pear with William Pear Gelato to end off the evening on a flavoursome note.
