COMEX 2014 is the next IT SHOW in Singapore with IT related gadgets and hardware going at huge discounts on August 2014 / September 2014.
It is to be held from 28 August to 31 August 2014 at Suntec Convention Centre (near Suntec City), Level 4 and Level 6, 12pm to 9pm daily
Do take note that the venue this time round is at Suntec Convention Centre, NOT Singapore Expo or Marina Bay Sands. Admission is FREE.

I had a bad experience in this Fair. First Time I have tried to visit an IT fair in SG, since I have quite a lot in my to buy list I thought this was the right place and right time to go. But was disappointed as I did not expect that there will be exhibitors who will be selling used items and fake items. I have purchased a Tomtom Nike+ sports watch worth $229 at Harvey Norman in the 6th floor and when I got home after charging the watch it showed that the watch was used already as it has a history record of runs and with a user name of Harold Lim. Also at Ainol from the same 6th level, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 which has only Chinese as a language on it ( there’s an option for English language but it’s just a dummy as even you select it still Chinese writing shows), has different specifications too . I had to return both for a refund. I’m quite particular with quality when I purchase items however the chaotic situation in the fair didn’t give me the chance to fully scrutinize the items I purchased, considering that I never thought that I will encounter such in Singapore. In Dubai whenever there are IT fairs I also make purchase and never had experience such disappointment and never have felt cheated. I pity the other consumers and I wonder why such exhibitors are allowed to do such. Is there anyway or anyone to report this to?
