Singapore Airlines and Dairy Farm Singapore has announced a first for frequent flyers as well as shoppers in Singapore
Members of KrisFlyer and TapForMore, through PAssion Card, can now convert their miles and points between the two loyalty programmes, bringing them even more benefits in the air and on the ground.
The new conversion capability enables KrisFlyer members to redeem their miles for TapForMore points to enjoy instant cash rebates when they shop at over 270 supermarkets and stores such as Cold Storage, Jasons, Market Place, Giant and Guardian with their PAssion Card.
TapForMore members can also redeem their TapForMore points for KrisFlyer miles, which can be used for flight upgrades, or for award flights on over 30 airlines including Singapore Airlines and SilkAir. KrisFlyer miles can also be combined with cash to pay for Singapore Airlines and SilkAir tickets on singaporeair.com.
The new conversion innovation, which is exclusive to the two loyalty programmes, will be made available to members from 21 January.
KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines’ frequent flyer programme. KrisFlyer members can earn miles when they travel on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, partner airlines on Star Alliance, as well as other airline partners including Virgin Australia, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin America. KrisFlyer also collaborates extensively with over 170 non-airline partners worldwide ranging from banks to hotels, travel services and retail, so members can continue to earn miles for rewards even when they are not flying.
KrisFlyer members can redeem their miles for award flights on over 30 world-class airlines to more than 1,000 destinations in 170 countries. KrisFlyer miles can also be redeemed for upgrades to Singapore Airlines Suites, First Class or Business Class on Singapore Airlines, and to Business Class on Singapore Airlines’ regional carrier, SilkAir. KrisFlyer members also have the option to mix their miles and cash when paying for their tickets, as well as to purchase preferred seats with more leg room in Economy Class, on Singapore Airlines flights, when booking on singaporeair.com.
KrisFlyer continually enhances the programme to bring more value and benefits to its members. With the recent introduction of “KrisFlyer Spree”, Singapore Airlines’ new online shopping mall, members can earn KrisFlyer miles when they shop at more than 2,000 global and local brands and merchants such as Adidas, Apple, Asos, Bloomingdales, eBay, Gap and Marks & Spencer.
TapForMore is an exclusive rewards programme owned by the Dairy Farm Singapore group, the largest retailer in Singapore that manages leading retail banners such as Cold Storage, Market Place, Jasons, Giant, Guardian Health and Beauty and 7-Eleven. TapForMore Points are issued via PAssion Card with purchases made at more than 270 Dairy Farm Singapore group’s grocery and health stores throughout Singapore. All People’s Association PAssion Card members are automatically enrolled into the TapForMore membership programme.
