Due to the Marina Bay Countdown 2011, there will be road closures in Singapore on 31 December 2011 and 1 January 2012. Roads affected include Raffles Avenue, Esplanade Drive (One C/way twrds Shenton Way) , Fullerton Rd towards ColIyer Quay , Collyer Quay towards Shenton Way, Marina Boulevard, Bayfront Ave , Temasek Ave towards Raffles Blvd, Raffles Link , Connaught Drive and Marina Way
Also affected are Marina View , Marina View Link , Collyer Quay towards Fullerton Rd , Fullerton Rd towards St Andrews , Fullerton Square , Battery Road , Flint Street , Bonham Street , D’Almeida Street , Malacca Street , De Souza Street and Finlayson Green towards Marina Blvd.

Auxiliary Police officers will be stationed at all affected road junctions to regulate traffic and assist motorists. Traffic advisory signs and electronic Variable Message Signs will also be put up near the affected roads and motorists are encouraged to tune in to the radio for the latest traffic updates.
Parking at peripheral roads and stopping of vehicles along the ECP (Benjamin Sheares Bridge) to watch the fireworks is strictly prohibited. Enforcement action will be taken against errant motorists who do so and vehicles which are parked will be towed away.
