Singapore President Election Results 2011: Tony Tan Wins 28 Aug 2011

At the close of poll for Presidential Election 2011, the total number of votes cast in Singapore is 2,153,014 (inclusive of 37,826 rejected votes).

This is 94.65% of the 2,274,773 registered electors.

The results of the election as at 28 August 1310hrs is as below

According to Channel News Asia, Returning Officer Yam Ah Mee said the local votes counted are conclusive and that the overseas votes will not affect the results of the election.
