For the period from 1 Jul to 30 Sep 2014, electricity tariffs will decrease by an average of 0.05 cent per kWh or 0.2% compared to the previous quarter.
For households, the electricity tariff will decrease from 25.73 to 25.68 cents per kWh for 1 Jul to 30 Sep 2014.
The average monthly electricity bill for families living in four-room HDB flats will decrease by $0.20
SP Services reviews the electricity tariffs quarterly based on guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA), the electricity industry regulator.
