20 October 2011, Singapore – In May this year, SHAW THEATRES LIDO IMAX opened with Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (IMAX 3D), and subsequently screened Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (IMAX 3D) and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (IMAX 3D). What about all the wonderful IMAX blockbusters that premiered before May 2011?

IMAX patrons have been asking for their favourite Hollywood films in the superior IMAX platform. Following their feedback, SHAW THEATRES has worked closely with movie distributors to bring back blockbusters that will offer a great experience when viewed on IMAX Digital Theatre System.

To sweeten the deal, SHAW THEATRES will be launching SHAW IMAX Passport – you get to watch three stipulated IMAX movies (two IMAX 3D and a IMAX 2D) at the great value of $49! This is a more than 20% savings off regular ticket prices.

In addition, you get an opportunity to win a pair of air tickets to Los Angeles in a lucky draw! The Passport will be on sale from 22 October 2011 and will be valid till 31 March 2012 (terms and conditions apply; visit www.shaw.sg/imax for details).
