M1 launches new prepaid roaming plans with data and voice minutes

M1 today launched two new prepaid roaming plans, helping travellers stay connected during their holidays and avoid the hassle of queuing to buy a local prepaid card upon arrival.

The new prepaid roaming plans offer 2GB of data to enable travellers to stay in touch with their loved ones, access attraction information, navigate, share their experiences on social media, and even back up precious memories online.

A unique feature for the new plans are the bundled voice minutes, offering M Card users the flexibility to call the fixed or mobile numbers of attractions, restaurants, airlines and hotels. Travellers can also use the minutes to receive incoming calls from home.

The new plans, priced at S$15 and S$28, are usable across 12 and 17 popular holiday destinations respectively, including Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and the United States – the widest selection of destinations of any prepaid roaming plan. The 2GB data and 10 voice minutes are valid for 10 days from the activation date.
