Starhub has announced the simplification of their post-paid daily data roaming services into two plans – ‘DataRoam Daily Unlimited’ for unlimited Internet access and ‘RoamEasy Daily’ for hassle-free surfing on any mobile network.
The mutually exclusive plans offer substantial savings on data roaming as compared to the standard rate of $20/MB.
Brazil is also covered by StarHub’s enhanced roaming plans.
DataRoam Daily Unlimited
Unlimited data roaming in the air and at 53 other destinations, up from 11
StarHub Mobile customers can now enjoy unlimited data roaming on board selected flights operated by Singapore Airlines at just $25/day. To enjoy this service, customers simply connect to StarHub’s roaming partner ‘OnAir’ while in the plane.
The unlimited surfing benefit is also available for as low as $15/day when connected to StarHub’s preferred roaming partners in 53 other destinations, including Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Italy, U.K and U.S.
RoamEasy Daily
Stay online on any mobile network in 39 destinations, up from 20
Beginning tomorrow (10 June 2014), StarHub’s RoamEasy Daily umbrella will be extended to cover 39 destinations after an earlier addition of 11 countries in October 2013. The eight new countries are Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, India, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg and Russia.
RoamEasy Daily is Singapore’s only hassle-free data roaming plan that enables customers to stay online on any mobile network at a single rate of $10/50MB daily (usual rate of $18/50MB applies from 1 October 2014). Data usage charges will only apply on days when data is used.
To activate RoamEasy Daily, customers simply SMS “SIGN ON” to 6818. There is no activation fee or monthly subscription for RoamEasy Daily.
For peace-of-mind, RoamEasy Daily users will get alerts on their data roaming usage when utilising the first KB of data in a day; when using 40MB of data; and when at the start of the next two 50MB blocks
