Laneige Homme has recently announced the appointment of Song Jae Lim as the new face of the brand.
Standing at 180cm, the former model has been catching viewer’s attention with his dynamic roles played in various hit dramas. Outgoing, positive, coupled with his dreamy looks made him a natural choice when it was time for Laneige Homme to appoint a new ambassador.

The formula
Prescribed with 3 vital minerals (magnesium, manganese and zinc) and 3 Vitamins (B3, C and B5) best suited for men’s skin, the Laneige Homme Dual Action range contains customized Dual Action Water to brighten skin tone and minimize the appearance of open pores.
The Dual Action Water provides 24 hours of skin moisture and fortifies the skin barrier cells to restore damaged skin caused by urban pollution and harmful UV rays.
The ingredients
One of the 2 key ingredients present in the Laneige Homme Dual Action range is the Gymnema sylvestre extract. Gymnema sylvestre is a herb native to the tropical forests of southern and central India and Sri Lanka, and was discovered 2,500 years ago. It was most commonly used in India to help retard hair growth and is added into the Homme Dual Action range to condition the skin while shaving.
As many men are concerned with enlarged and clogged pore issues, the researchers at Laneige have discovered Phytospingosine which helps men target their pore concerns. Phytospingosine is a kind of vegetable extract that relieves and soothes pimples caused by excess sebum. Studies have shown that with regular use of products containing Phytospingosine, pores become smaller and skin texture becomes smoother.
