To celebrate Singapore’s 50th birthday, Singtel will offer customers a slew of free services ranging from free mobile data, to extra value on prepaid top-ups and free Singtel TV content over the extended four-day National Day weekend.
From 12.01am, 7 August 2015, to 11.59pm, 10 August 2015, Singtel’s mobile customers will have more reasons to celebrate
Singtel’s 2.2 million postpaid mobile customers will enjoy free unlimited local mobile data.
Prepaid mobile customers will receive an extra 50% more value for hi! Top-ups during the same period.
From 6.00am, 7 August 2015, to 11.59pm, 10 August 2015, Singtel TV customers will enjoy free viewing of more than 150 channels on Singtel TV. They include Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network, STARWorld, FOX Movies Premium and more.

Free Mobile Data Details
This benefit is offered to all Singtel Mobile Postpaid customers, including Corporate Individual Scheme (CIS) and corporate mobile customers, all of whom must use the APNs listed below (“Eligible Customers”).
Eligible Customers can enjoy free unlimited local data on 7 Aug 2015 to 10 Aug 2015. This benefit starts from 00:00hrs on 7 Aug 2015 and ends at 23:59hrs (Singapore Time) on 10 August 2015 (“Benefit Period”).
If your mobile price plan comes with a local data bundle, this means that your data usage during the Benefit Period will not be deducted from your bundle.
If you are not on a data-bundled plan, you will still get to enjoy this benefit during the Benefit Period by using the APNs mentioned below.
For Postpaid mobile customers, you will need to access local mobile data (2G/3G/4G) through e-ideas/ Internet/ BlackBerry APNs. These are the default APNs on your device if you have not changed your settings.
If you are not on a data-bundled plan, you will still get to enjoy this benefit during the Benefit Period by using the APNs mentioned above.
As your local data usage is waived during the Benefit Period, you will not see any clocked usage during that period on your My Singtel App and on your monthly bill.
TV Free Preview
To celebrate Singapore’s SG50 Jubilee Weekend, Singtel TV is providing free preview of over 150 channels to subscribers via Singtel TV set-top box.
Subscribers can experience the wide variety of content available during the festive period from 7 – 10 August 2015.
All existing Singtel TV residential subscribers with a Singtel TV set-top box can enjoy the SG50 Jubilee Weekend Specials Free Preview. Subscribers on Singtel TV Select service are able to enjoy the SG50 Jubilee Weekend Specials Free Preview as well.
Over 150 channels are available for the free preview. However, the free preview does not include “ftv.com (HD)”, “ftv.com On Demand”, “mio Stadium” content, “Video on Demand” (VOD) content, “Season Pass” titles, Shares and On Demand Channels.
The free preview is not available on Singtel TV GO. Free preview of Discovery Channel and TLC (on-going from now till 31 August 2015) via Singtel TV GO is still available during the SG50 Jubilee Weekend Specials free preview period.
Prepaid Mobile 50% bonus for hi! Top-ups to Main Account
All hi! Top-ups made to Main Account will be eligible. This promotion is not applicable for BBOM users, bonus plan top-ups, data & social plan purchase, and hi! Top-ups below $10.
The bonus will be 50% of the top-up amount and will be credited upon successful hi! Top-up to Main Account. It will be credited into your Special Bonus Account
