Singapore, Oct 3, 2011 – HP today revealed its largest investment in the all-in-one desktop PC market to date, unveiling a new portfolio of products that offers consumers powerful and sleek PCs and award-winning customer service and support.
At the same time, HP also introduced the latest HP Pavilion consumer desktop PC – Pavilion HPE Phoenix – that delivers powerful technologies in a sophisticated design.
The HP TouchSmart advantage
The 23-inch diagonal HP TouchSmart520 PC is designed for consumers who demand a premium multimedia and touch experience. This TouchSmart features a suite of built-for-touch applications and a free-standing, tilt-enabled full HD(1) display, complementing its environment instead of defining it. The floating form is minimal and elegant with enough space between the stand and display to hide the keyboard when not in use.
The newest version of HP’s exclusive TouchSmart 5.0 software provides the most intuitive, immersive touch experience to date. Some of the features include touch optimized applications from Twitter and Facebook, as well as HP’s exclusive RecipeBox, webcam and music applications(2).
Users can also conveniently access Windows apps, desktop icons and built-for-touch applications within the same desktop environment. The space-saving HP Omni series PC provides an ideal combination of form, function and affordability. The new model, Omni120, offers a minimalist, streamlined design with a metallic pedestal that elegantly lifts the display, and also minimizes clutter.
With an all-new easel design, the 20-inch diagonal Omni120 PC offers ample storage, built-in speakers and a vivid HD(1) display to pump up your entertainment ante. The new Omni PC also features HP LinkUp Technology(2), which lets users view and interact with content from a notebook PC on the Omni PC.
