It’s a double celebration this Year of the Dragon! Microsoft Hardware is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a trade-in promotion for its newest groundbreaking products – the Explorer Touch Mouse and Touch Mouse
Microsoft is announcing its first-ever mouse trade-in program in Singapore. Customers can bring their old computer mouse (any condition or brand) to participating retailers island-wide, and drop them in specially designed recycling boxes to receive a special discount off the Explorer Touch Mouse and Touch Mouse.
With each trade-in, customers can either receive S$10 off the Explorer Touch Mouse (left image, suggested retail price S$59.00 before trade-in) or S$20 off the Touch Mouse (suggested retail price S$99 before trade-in).
Customers can purchase any color or edition of the two eligible Microsoft mice with this promotion; there are also no limits to the number of trade-ins per customer. This promotion is available from today, 18 January till 31st March 2012 or while stocks last.
The Explorer Touch Mouse comes with a unique scroll pad that replaces the traditional scroll-wheel allowing users to scroll horizontally and vertically within browsers or documents with absolute precision. Scroll carefully with soft nudges or speed through documents faster with a flick of a finger. Hidden underneath the scroll pad are three buttons which can be customized for multiple uses like cut, paste, page-up and more. To cap it off, the Explorer Touch can last up to 18 months on a single set of AA batteries.
The Touch Mouse was designed ground up to accelerate the consumer’s Windows 7 experience. With simple one, two and three-finger gestures, users can scroll through documents with ease, manipulate Windows programs, and move quickly between applications to finish work faster and better.
This is thanks to the series of touch sensors embedded on the top half of the Touch Mouse that enable multi-touch capabilities – all on an ergonomic design. This is Microsoft’s most advanced mouse ever and has won awards such as the PC Mag’s Editor’s Choice Award.
Microsoft backs these mouse products with a worldwide three-year limited hardware warranty. More information about these and other Microsoft Hardware products can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/hardware.
