The Lunar New Year Istana Open House (IOH) will be held on Saturday, 5 February 2022.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the Istana’s outdoor spaces and gardens. Safe management measures will be in place to ensure the safety of all visitors.
Visitors who wish to visit the Istana on 5 February 2022 will have to apply for tickets in advance. Each application is limited to a maximum of five tickets. At the time of application, applicants will have to choose a two-hour timeslot starting from 9am, 11am, 1pm or 3pm. Tickets will be allocated by an electronic balloting system. The balloting results are final.
There are no charges for the tickets. Ticket application will open from Monday, 24 January 2022, 10am to Tuesday, 25 January 2022, 10am at tinyurl.com/lnyioh22. Each ticket admits one visitor to the Lunar New Year IOH at the allocated time slot. Children (inclusive of infants) must hold a valid ticket to be admitted.
There will be merchandise booths with limited-edition Istana souvenirs and President’s Challenge souvenirs. All proceeds will go towards charities supported by President’s Challenge. Only cashless payments via PayNow will be accepted.
There will be no performances, tours, or food trucks at this IOH. Only the outdoor gardens will be accessible to visitors. There will be no conducted tours of the Main Building. Visitors must keep their masks on at all times. Safe distancing ambassadors will be deployed to ensure visitors observe safe distancing measures.
The Istana seeks visitors’ cooperation and understanding so that the IOH will be a pleasant experience for all.
