SGD Time Deposit Promotion

A time deposit account is an account that has a fixed term and interest rate. You can open such an account to enhance your savings, as it lets you earn a fixed interest rate on your savings based on the tenor you have selected. You can withdraw your funds at the completion of the term period, or you can choose to renew the time deposit.
Citibank offers different types of fixed deposit accounts that you can select according to your needs.
New (Fresh) funds only. “New Funds” means a deposit of funds: (a) from outside Citibank and (b) which is incremental to the average daily balance of checking, savings and deposit accounts for the month before the placement of the time deposit. Any transfer of funds between Citibank account(s) would not be considered as New Funds.
