COE Prices for Second September 2024 Bidding Exercise Has Increases In Almost All Categories

The second Open Bidding Exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COE) in September 2024 concluded on 18 September at 16:00.

In this round of bidding, COE prices witnessed a significant shift across most categories, with substantial increases noted in all categories except for Category C, which saw a minor decrease of $1 from the previous round.

The largest increase was observed in Category E (Open Category), where prices surged by $6,203, bringing the new COE price to $113,104. Category B, which includes larger cars and more powerful fully electric vehicles, also saw a notable rise of $3,701, with the new price at $110,001.

Category A comprises non-fully electric cars with engines up to 1,600cc and a Maximum Power Output up to 97kW (130bhp), as well as fully electric cars with a Maximum Power Output up to 110kW (147bhp).

Category B includes non-fully electric cars with engines exceeding 1,600cc or a Maximum Power Output above 97kW (130bhp), and fully electric cars with a Maximum Power Output above 110kW (147bhp).
