CIMB Bank Singapore has further reduced its promotional fixed deposit (FD) rates, capping the highest rate at 1.9% per annum.

Update 7 July: CIMB S’pore cuts fixed deposit promo rates again from 7 July, now capped at 1.8% p.a.

This latest adjustment reflects the bank’s continued alignment with prevailing market interest trends and economic outlook.

The rate revision follows swiftly on the heels of a previous change made on 20 June 2025. CIMB had already trimmed its FD promo rates to a peak of 2% p.a. as of 20 June. The newest revision now marks a downward adjustment in under a month, underscoring the bank’s dynamic recalibration of its deposit products.

Promotional Rates

Under the revised promotion effective from 1 July, CIMB offers differentiated rates for Personal Banking and Preferred Banking clients. Customers must deposit a minimum of S$10,000 online to qualify. As before, Preferred Banking customers enjoy marginally higher rates across all tenors.
