Samsung has announced its new Notebook Series 5 500P with a 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7 Quad Core Processor, designed to extend its performance-driven offerings in the notebook PC category.
The 14″ Series 5 500P is designed to meet consumers’ increasing demands for high-quality multimedia content with a number of powerful features. With Intel’s latest 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7 Quad Core Processor, dedicated graphics, a high resolution LED display, generous storage capacity and JBL optimized stereo speakers, the Series 5 500P delivers an exceptional multimedia experience even while on-the-go.
Multimedia Content Powerfully Delivered
The Series 5 500P features a 25% improvement on performance compared to 2nd generation processor, while consuming 20% less power, ensuring twice as fast 3D gaming and media experience. This is complemented with an NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 630M 2GB graphics card and storage space of up to 1TB, ensuring easy access to multi-format content as well as seamless creating, playback, editing and storage of multimedia content.
Best AV Quality in its Class
The Series 5 500P further sports a high-resolution anti-reflective display with SuperBright 300nit brightness. An incredibly rich, vivid and crisp visual experience is further enhanced with integrated JBL optimized aural enjoyment all around.
Boosted Usability for Ease-of-use
To enable users to create and enjoy content on the go, the Series 5 500P features a full-size island keyboard. The improved touchpad with separated left and right clicks further enhances usability. These functional advantages ensure no further attachments—such as an additional keyboard or mouse—are required.
Building on the design heritage of Samsung notebooks, the Series 5 500P has also been crafted for a compact appearance. The 14″ model weighs just 2.27 kg and is available in Pink and Titan Silver.
Pricing and Availability
Samsung Series 5 500P will be available in Singapore from 3 June 2012 from $1,288.
