One of the most popular singers in the region, Malaysia’s Sheila Majid promises to wow audiences. With her velvety smooth vocals, she brings her own distinctive brand of pop, jazz, and R & B music.
Allow the international cast of Tony award winning musical ‘Jersey Boys’ to tease you as they bring a piece of Broadway to The Float @ Marina Bay. Join them as they chronicle the trials and triumphs of the 60s band, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
Singaporean-Korean girl group SKarf give their very first New Year’s Eve performance on our Marina Bay stage. With their saccharine-sweet voices and girly dance moves, be prepared to be charmed by these K-Pop darlings.
Celebrate 2013 will also showcase the best of Singapore’s homegrown talents. Regional sensation Taufik Batisah will grace our stage with his brand new track ‘Sky’s the Limit’. Having won numerous awards, Taufik has come a long way since his Singapore Idol win in 2004. So bask in the soulfulness of his silky voice.
Young local artistes ShiGGa Shay, The Sam Willows and Trick are making waves on the local music scene by receiving lots of airplay on radio station 987fm. They’ll be sharing their talent on Celebrate 2013.
Also catch up-and-coming indie band The Sam Willows and their unique sound. With their passion and dedication to music, The Sam Willows looks to put Singapore music on the world map.
And the party doesn’t stop there! The fun continues through the night with DJs Foxxxy and Inquisitive spinning Top 40 dance hits. Ring in the New Year with Celebrate 2013 as the dance floor swings wide open for party-goers to have the time of their lives.
