Celebrate the Ben & Jerriest Day of the Year with FREE Ice Cream on 8 April! Free Cone Day on Wheels will leave no hand unconed
Mark your calendars, it’s time to celebrate the Ben and Jerriest day of the year! That’s right; the iconic Vermont ice cream company is holding its annual Free Cone Day as a way to thank ice cream-loving fans everywhere for their support.
On Tuesday, April 8, from 12pm to 8pm, Ben & Jerry’s will be dishing out free scoops to all in attendance at four locations.
Since its first anniversary in 1979, Ben & Jerry’s has thrown open the scoop shop doors and invited everyone and anyone in for a free cup or cone. The annual Ben & Jerry’s celebration is a way for the company to have some fun and say thank you for another year of support.
In line with the company’s social mission of giving back to the community, Ben & Jerry’s is partnering The Children’s Charities Association of Singapore (CCA) for Free Cone Day 2014 to raise awareness and increase support for their worthy cause. CCA believes in working towards helping the physically, mentally and socially-disadvantaged children of Singapore, and giving them hope for the future.
Ben & Jerry’s thus hopes that everyone at Free Cone Day will add a little more sweetness to their day by contributing donations at the scoop shops to help fund CCA programmes that will educate, train and assist beneficiaries to become independent and useful citizens.
To spread the peace, love and ice cream cheer even further, Ben & Jerry’s will also be bringing Free Cone Day on Wheels for the very first time in Singapore, visiting the 6 member charities benefitting under the umbrella of CCA, to leave no hand unconed!
