Terms and Conditions
- Promotional rates are applicable from 13 July 2016 for a minimum placement amount of S$30,000 in SGD Time Deposit and S$3,000 in Passbook Savings, Youngstarz Savings, Privilege Plus Savings or SaveUp Account at Maybank Branches
- The full upfront interest amount will be credited into customer’s Passbook Savings, Youngstarz Savings, Privilege Plus Savings or SaveUp Account, opened and /or maintained with Maybank, on the next business day following the successful placement of the Time Deposit
- Funds deposited into the Passbook Savings, Youngstarz Savings, Privilege Plus Savings or SaveUp Account and Time Deposit must be fresh funds. Maybank cheques or transfers made from the Account Holder’s existing Maybank account(s) (if any) are not allowed
- Funds deposited into the Passbook Savings, Youngstarz Savings, Privilege Plus Savings or SaveUp Account will be earmarked for 12 months. In the event that customers want to withdraw the funds, Maybank will claw back the Upfront Interest paid on the Time Deposit
