SingFinance has refreshed its daily special Singapore Dollar fixed deposit rates for personal accounts using fresh funds from 8 September 2026, with a top rate of 1.70% p.a. for a 12-month placement of at least S$10,000.

Update: SingFinance Fresh-Fund Fixed Deposit Hits 1.75% p.a. from 15 Sep 2026

Online placements also start from a lower S$1,000 tier, giving smaller placements access to rates of up to 1.50% p.a. 📈

Fresh funds must first come from an external bank into a SingFinance savings account before the corresponding amount is used for a new online fixed deposit. For new retail customers, the digital route involves opening a GoSavers Account through SIF Mobile using MyInfo with Singpass. SingFinance currently lists no initial deposit, minimum balance, monthly service fee, fall-below fee or early account-closure fee for GoSavers. Existing customers should follow the funding route shown for the relevant FD placement flow in SIF Mobile. 📱

The current 1.70% p.a. headline is higher than the earlier SingFinance schedule referenced in the earlier SingFinance fixed deposit update from 3 Sep 2026.

SingFinance fresh-fund fixed deposit rates

The daily special rates apply to personal accounts and fresh funds only. Rates can change without prior notice and terms and conditions apply. The S$10,000 tier carries identical listed rates online and over the counter across all six displayed tenors.

24 months1.35% p.a.1.40% p.a.1.40% p.a.

Although SingFinance’s standard fixed deposit product has a general minimum placement starting from S$500, this daily special fresh-fund schedule uses a minimum of S$1,000 for online placements and S$10,000 for over-the-counter placements.

Rate highlights worth noting

  • Highest listed rate: 1.70% p.a. for 12 months with at least S$10,000, available through the listed online-placement and over-the-counter routes.
  • Lower online entry amount: Online placement starts from S$1,000 under this daily special schedule, with 1.50% p.a. offered at the 6-, 12- and 18-month tenors.
  • Same S$10,000 rates by channel: Online and over-the-counter placements receive the same listed daily-special rate for every displayed tenor.
  • Longer is not automatically higher: The 24-month S$10,000 rate is 1.40% p.a., which is 0.30 percentage points below the 12-month rate. 🔎

For a S$10,000 placement, the listed rate is the same online and over the counter, but the access requirements differ. Online placement depends on SIF Mobile and the applicable SingFinance savings-account funding flow, while branch placement requires an in-person visit with the original NRIC and placement funds. For placements from S$1,000 to below S$10,000, only the online tier is shown under this daily special schedule. 💡

How to place the fixed deposit

  1. Check the applicable daily-special rates: Review the official SingFinance Singapore Dollar Fixed Deposit page before transferring funds, as rates can change without prior notice.
  2. For new retail customers placing under this route: Download SIF Mobile and open a GoSavers Account using MyInfo with Singpass. Once activated, transfer the minimum required fresh funds via FAST and follow the app instructions to open the fixed deposit.
  3. For existing customers: SingFinance says customers with an active fixed deposit or savings account can transfer the required fresh funds into an existing SingFinance savings account via FAST, log in to SIF Mobile, select the fixed deposit account number and tap “Place New FD Online”.
  4. For FAST funding: Fresh funds can be transferred from participating banks and non-financial institutions where available. Check the SingFinance FAST information page for details.
  5. Separate FD Online product: SingFinance also maintains a dedicated Fixed Deposit Online product funded through GoSavers. Its rates may differ from the daily-special online-placement rates shown above, so check the applicable product and rate before confirming a placement.
  6. For over-the-counter placement: A minimum S$10,000 applies under the displayed daily-special fresh-fund schedule. Bring the original NRIC and placement funds to a SingFinance branch for assistance.

SingFinance branch locations

SingFinance currently lists four branches for in-person placement or assistance: Robinson at 96 Robinson Road, #01-01 SIF Building; Ang Mo Kio at Block 715 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6, #01-4006; Bedok at Block 202 Bedok North Street 1, #01-479/481; and Jurong at Block 131 Jurong Gateway Road, #01-255. Check the official SingFinance branch locations before travelling. 📍

Branch timing: SingFinance currently lists operating hours of 9am to 4pm from Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm on Saturday, with branches closed on Sundays and public holidays. Queue tickets are issued only until 3pm on weekdays and 11am on Saturday, so an earlier arrival is advisable for an over-the-counter placement. ⏰

What to compare before placing funds

Compare the offer with other Singapore fixed deposit and savings promotions. Consider the annual rate, placement amount, tenor, funding route, liquidity needs, maturity instructions and account-opening requirements rather than focusing only on the headline rate. 🔎

The 12-month S$10,000 tier stands out at 1.70% p.a., while the S$1,000 online tier offers a more accessible starting point. Before placing funds, check the official SingFinance Singapore Dollar Fixed Deposit page for the prevailing rate and latest terms.
