SingFinance has refreshed their fixed deposit rates for fresh-fund placements from 3 September 2026, with rates of up to 1.65% p.a. for a minimum S$10,000 placement over 12 months.
For FD Online, the lower S$1,000 entry amount earns up to 1.50% p.a., available across the 6-, 12- and 18-month tenors. π°
Online fixed deposit placements require fresh funds to be transferred from a GoSavers Account. Open a GoSavers Account through the SIF Mobile app using MyInfo with Singpass, then transfer funds via FAST (Fast and Secure Transfer) where applicable before making the placement. π±
The 1.65% p.a. headline is 0.30 percentage point above SingFinance’s up to 1.35% p.a. schedule from 12 June 2026 and 0.10 percentage point above its 1.55% p.a. National Day offer from 1 August 2026. These are headline-to-headline comparisons rather than like-for-like offers, as minimum deposits and eligible tenors differed.

Rate highlights worth noting
- Highest listed rate: 1.65% p.a. for 12 months with a minimum S$10,000 placement, available both online and over the counter.
- Lower online entry amount: FD Online accepts placements from S$1,000 under this rate schedule, with up to 1.50% p.a. for the 6-, 12- and 18-month tenors.
- S$10,000 rates are identical: Online and over-the-counter placements receive the same listed rate at every displayed tenor, so the placement method does not change the rate for this deposit amount.
- Six-month option: S$10,000 earns 1.60% p.a. for six months, only 0.05 percentage point below the 12-month maximum.
- Longer is not automatically higher: The 24-month S$10,000 rate is 1.40% p.a., which is 0.25 percentage point below the 12-month rate. π
Online or over the counter? The S$10,000 rate tier is the same for both placement methods across all six listed tenors. FD Online additionally offers a lower S$1,000 placement tier, while over-the-counter placements under these fresh-fund rates require at least S$10,000. π‘
How to place the fixed deposit
Choose either FD Online or an over-the-counter placement at a SingFinance branch. Both placement methods under these fresh-fund rates require fresh funds.
- Review the FD Online details: Check the official SingFinance FD Online information. Online placements under this promotion require fresh funds transferred through a GoSavers Account.
- For new retail customers: Visit the official SIF Mobile page, download the app and open a GoSavers Account using MyInfo with Singpass. After activation, transfer the required fresh funds before placing the fixed deposit.
- For existing customers placing online: Transfer the required fresh funds into the GoSavers Account, log in to SIF Mobile, select the fixed deposit account number and choose “Place New FD Online”.
- For FAST funding: Fresh funds can be transferred from participating banks and non-financial institutions where available. Check the SingFinance FAST information page for details.
- For over-the-counter placement: A minimum S$10,000 placement applies under the listed fresh-fund rates. Bring the original NRIC and placement funds to a SingFinance branch for assistance.
SingFinance branch locations
For branch placement or in-person assistance, SingFinance lists four locations: Robinson at 96 Robinson Road, #01-01 SIF Building; Ang Mo Kio at Block 715 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6, #01-4006; Bedok at Block 202 Bedok North Street 1, #01-479/481; and Jurong at Block 131 Jurong Gateway Road, #01-255. Check the SingFinance branch locations page before travelling. π
Branch timing: SingFinance branches currently operate from 9am to 4pm from Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm on Saturday, and are closed on Sundays and public holidays. Queue tickets are issued only until 3pm on weekdays and 11am on Saturday, so arrive before the queue cut-off for an over-the-counter placement. β°
Important points before confirming a placement
Review the fixed deposit and savings terms and conditions before committing funds. Automatic renewal occurs at the prevailing board rate rather than the original promotional rate.
Early withdrawal may be permitted at SingFinance’s discretion and can result in no interest payment, recovery of interest already paid, replacement-funding costs, a levy or early-withdrawal fee, and other applicable costs. Check the maturity instructions, early-withdrawal provisions and definition of qualifying fresh funds before completing the placement.
The key choice is therefore largely about placement method and deposit size rather than a difference in the S$10,000 rate. A S$10,000 fresh-fund placement receives the same listed rate online or over the counter, while FD Online provides access to the lower S$1,000 tier. For the highest listed return, the 12-month S$10,000 option pays 1.65% p.a. Confirm the applicable rate before placing funds, as rates remain subject to change without prior notice. β
Compare the offer with other Singapore fixed deposit and savings promotions. Consider the annual rate, minimum placement amount, tenor, funding route, liquidity needs and account-opening requirements rather than focusing only on the headline rate. π
