Looking for a flexible place to park fresh funds while keeping cash accessible?
Standard Chartered Singapore’s e$aver Bonus Interest Promotion is now running from 1 Oct 2026, with up to 1.80% p.a. on eligible incremental fresh funds 💰. For existing Qualifying Account(s), the Incremental Balance is measured against the Sep 2026 average daily balance, with up to S$2 million of Incremental Balance per Qualifying Account(s) eligible for Bonus Interest.
No lock-in period applies, so funds remain accessible through SC Mobile or Online Banking 🔓. However, withdrawals can reduce the monthly average daily balance and therefore shrink, or eliminate, the eligible incremental balance for a month.
Compared with the previous Aug-Sep 2026 Standard Chartered e$aver promotion, the top total rate has risen from 1.60% p.a. to 1.80% p.a., while the total rate for account holders without qualifying wealth holdings has increased from 1.40% p.a. to 1.50% p.a. 📈.

📊 Promotional interest rates
The total promotional rate combines the prevailing account rate with the applicable bonus rate:
| Primary account holder | Prevailing interest rate | Bonus interest rate | Total interest rate |
|---|---|---|---|
| With qualifying wealth holding | 0.05% p.a. | 1.75% p.a. | 1.80% p.a. |
| Without qualifying wealth holding | 0.05% p.a. | 1.45% p.a. | 1.50% p.a. |
🏦 How the 1.80% p.a. tier works
The higher tier applies when the primary account holder qualifies as a customer with wealth holdings. This means holding an Eligible Investment Product or Insurance Product purchased through Standard Chartered.
Eligible Investment Products include Unit Trusts, Bonds, Structured Notes and Equities. Foreign-currency exchange transactions and investments made using the Central Provident Fund Investment Scheme or Supplementary Retirement Scheme are excluded.
When targeting the full 1.80% p.a., the relevant qualifying wealth holding needs to be in place at the end of each calendar month during the promotion period, when the applicable Bonus Interest Rate is assessed.
🧮 How average daily balance affects the bonus
Average daily balance, or ADB, is calculated by adding the end-of-day balances for every day in a calendar month and dividing the total by the number of days in that month. End-of-day balances are measured at 11.59pm.
| Account type | How the Incremental Balance is determined |
|---|---|
| Existing Qualifying Account(s) | The promotion-month ADB must exceed the Sep 2026 ADB. Bonus Interest applies to the difference between the two ADB figures. No Bonus Interest is earned when the promotion-month ADB is equal to or below the Sep 2026 ADB. |
| Qualifying Account(s) newly opened during the promotion period | The Incremental Balance is the ADB maintained in the newly opened Qualifying Account(s). |
Only transactions up to the last working day or Saturday of the calendar month are included when calculating ADB. Transactions made very close to month-end therefore need extra care. Withdrawals during the month can also lower the ADB and reduce the balance that earns Bonus Interest.

✅ Participation checklist
- Hold or open a Qualifying Account. e$aver, e$aver Kids! and World Partner Savings account(s) are included under the promotion mechanics.
- Check the Sep 2026 ADB for an existing account. This is the comparison balance used to determine the eligible Incremental Balance.
- Bring in fresh funds. The promotional bonus applies only to qualifying incremental fresh funds.
- Avoid recycling existing Standard Chartered funds. Funds originating from another existing Standard Chartered account, or withdrawn and re-deposited within the restricted period, do not meet the fresh-funds requirement.
- Keep the monthly ADB in mind. Withdrawals can reduce the Incremental Balance that earns Bonus Interest.
- Take care near month-end. Only transactions up to the last working day or Saturday of the calendar month are included in the ADB calculation.
- Maintain the relevant wealth holding when targeting 1.80% p.a. Wealth-holding status is assessed at the end of each calendar month.
- Keep the account valid and in good standing. This remains relevant through the time Bonus Interest is credited.
⚠️ Highlight points to note
- Only the eligible Incremental Balance receives Bonus Interest.
- The Incremental Balance eligible for Bonus Interest is capped at S$2 million per Qualifying Account(s). Any Incremental Balance above the cap earns only the prevailing interest rate.
- The 0.05% p.a. prevailing rate applies to the entire deposit balance, while the additional Bonus Interest Rate applies only to the eligible Incremental Balance.
- Bonus Interest is calculated after the end of each calendar month and credited in one or more transactions by the 25th calendar day of the following month.
- The Qualifying Account(s) must remain valid and in good standing when Bonus Interest is credited.
- After the promotion period, Bonus Interest ceases, while the prevailing interest continues to apply to the deposit balance.
New-to-bank customers can also check the separate Standard Chartered Priority Banking sign-up promotion. This is a separate offer from the e$aver promotion and requires opening a Wealth $aver or USD$aver account. Separate terms apply.
For cash that needs to stay accessible, the e$aver promotion combines no lock-in with bonus interest on qualifying incremental fresh funds. Before moving a sizeable balance, check the official Standard Chartered e$aver promotion page for the latest rate and promotion information, especially the Sep 2026 reference balance and month-end wealth-holding requirement for the 1.80% p.a. tier.
