This September marks a very special month for Laneige as the K-beauty brand celebrates its 20th Anniversary
Song Hye Kyo’s Birthday Gift Idea
To celebrate its 20th Anniversary, Laneige ambassador, Song Hye Kyo has specially designed a birthday gift, featuring an innovative idea of her personal favourite, the Water Bank Gel Cream_EX.
The limited edition set consists of 7 tubes of Water Bank Gel Cream_EX, each infused with 7 different fragrances and in 7 different coloured packaging to represent each day of a week.
As the face of Laneige since 2008, Song Hye Kyo’s gift couldn’t come at a better moment as she shared “Turning 20 means alot to many young ladies as it is the magical age when girls transform into young women. With Laneige turning 20 this year, I am happy to share this idea as my special present for Laneige.”
This idea of creating different scents for her favourite product came from the idea of how women like to wear different fragrance, depending on the occasion – “Just as how you would wear a different perfume according to the mood and occasion, I wanted to choose a different fragrance for my moisturizer every day. Water Bank Gel Cream has a very refreshing aqua scent so I was wondering what would be the effect of blending other floral or herbal scent into the product. So, on the day when you have a date, you can choose to use a moisturizer with a sweet floral scent, just like how you would prefer to wear a perfume of a sweeter scent”.
Song Hye Kyo also shared that her favourite scent is the Lavender.
