Singapore, Oct 3, 2011 – HP today revealed its largest investment in the all-in-one desktop PC market to date, unveiling a new portfolio of products that offers consumers powerful and sleek PCs and award-winning customer service and support.

At the same time, HP also introduced the latest HP Pavilion consumer desktop PC – Pavilion HPE Phoenix – that delivers powerful technologies in a sophisticated design.

The HP TouchSmart advantage

The 23-inch diagonal HP TouchSmart520 PC is designed for consumers who demand a premium multimedia and touch experience. This TouchSmart features a suite of built-for-touch applications and a free-standing, tilt-enabled full HD(1) display, complementing its environment instead of defining it. The floating form is minimal and elegant with enough space between the stand and display to hide the keyboard when not in use.

The newest version of HP’s exclusive TouchSmart 5.0 software provides the most intuitive, immersive touch experience to date. Some of the features include touch optimized applications from Twitter and Facebook, as well as HP’s exclusive RecipeBox, webcam and music applications(2).

Users can also conveniently access Windows apps, desktop icons and built-for-touch applications within the same desktop environment. With a scrolling desktop that expands horizontally via the TouchSmart’s Magic Canvas, users can easily customize their user experience by dragging and dropping their favourite files and apps onto the TouchSmart’s carousel.

Additionally, users can experience content and programs from a notebook PC on the TouchSmart’s Magic Canvas with HP LinkUp Technology(2) for a more comfortable, entertaining and productive experience.

Music lovers will enjoy a premium listening experience with integrated Beats Audio technology on HP TouchSmart PCs.

Affordable, stylish home computing

The space-saving HP Omni series PC provides an ideal combination of form, function and affordability. The new model, Omni120, offers a minimalist, streamlined design with a metallic pedestal that elegantly lifts the display, and also minimizes clutter.

With an all-new easel design, the 20-inch diagonal Omni120 PC offers ample storage, built-in speakers and a vivid HD(1) display to pump up your entertainment ante. The new Omni PC also features HP LinkUp Technology(2), which lets users view and interact with content from a notebook PC on the Omni PC. Changes are saved directly to the notebook, so there are no file transfer hassles(2).

The Omni120 PC also integrates 500GB(3) of hard drive space and the latest Intel processor(4) and graphics.

Stunning design that packs a punch

The new HP Pavilion HPE Phoenix, the company’s most powerful consumer desktop PC to date, is expertly engineered to deliver incredible performance for power-hungry applications like immersive gaming and digital creation. With speed, expandability, and a cutting-edge muscular design, users get a top-of-the-line desktop PC that not only performs, but looks the part too.

The HP Pavilion HPE Phoenix contains 16GB of DDR3 system memory enabling users to push their PC to the limit, while a high-end discrete graphics card (250W) delivers captivating video performance and picture quality for immersive 3D gaming and multiple external displays. In addition, there is also room for up to 9TB storage capacity and up to three internal hard drives(1) to help accommodate the user’s digital entertainment libraries. The Pavilion HPE Phoenix also delivers an enthralling audio experience with Beats Audio™ technology.

Users can also rise to next level of immersive gaming with RIFT Digital Collector’s Edition game, the latest massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) from Trion. Users can download and enjoy free access to RIFT for sixty days with every purchase of HP Pavilion HPE Phoenix. Following which, a charge of US$15 per month is necessary for continuous access to the game(6).
