Toshiba’s year end promotion is now on. Valid till 31st December 2010, the promotion offers the new Toshiba Portege M780 tablet at $2,199. The R700 series also retail from $2,199.

Despite it being a Christmas sale, some of its items are the same or more expensive than Sitex 2010. For example, the R700-2015U with Intel i5 (PT310L-D8X03D) processor is going for $2,199, the same as Sitex 2010. On the other hand, the R700 2010U with Intel i7 processor (PT311L-02U04W) is going for $2,499 – 100 quid more than Sitex 2010.
Hence, it pays to shop during such periods. The next IT Show, IT Show 2011, is the show you are waiting for if you are looking for great bargains. It is at Suntec City on 10th March 2011.
