If you are above the age of 20, have your Lipid Profile checked every 5 years to ensure that your total cholesterol levels are below 5.2mmol/L, LDL cholesterol is below 1.8mmol/L, HDL cholesterol is below 1-1.3mmol/L, and triglyceride levels are below 1.7mmol/L.
Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean meats and low-fat dairy products, plus one to two servings of fatty fish per week.
Aim to do at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise weekly.
