Get ready to commence the catch with The Ultimate Launch by KFC, with one of the biggest names of all time: Pokémon!

From 19 August to 29 September, Pokémon fans can embark on an immersive trainer experience at all KFC outlets, with collectibles and trading cards. This is a dream come true with specially designed merch, and five Pokémon type-themed stores: Water (KFC NEX), Fire (KFC Jem), Electric (KFC Kallang), Ghost (KFC Compass One), and Grass (KFC Jurong Point). There will even be beginner-friendly tutorials – Pokémon Trading Card Game: New Trainer Journey.

Look out also for collectibles with purchases of food and other themed premiums available! Trust us, you’ll need it, because all 71 KFC outlets islandwide will be transformed into PokéStops and Gyms with Pokémon Go!

Fuel up with KFC’s seasonal Japanese menu drop from 19 August – 29 September, savour KFC’s version of Japanese Nanban Zinger and Chicken Bites. Served with generous Egg Tartar and garnished with spring onions, it’s a feast for the eyes and the stomach.

Pokémon-Type Themed Stores

As part of the campaign, five selected KFC stores (KFC Kallang, Compass One, Nex, Jurong Point, JEM) will be dressed up in Pokémon-type themes: Water, Fire, Electric, Ghost, and Grass.

From eye-catching thematic decorations to specially curated photo moments, fans can step into vibrant spaces that bring the adventure to life. Embark on a new journey with Pokémon-themed decors, and catch special Pokémon decals, like the Mega Raichu X, Mega Raichu Y, Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y. For a limited time, these invite Trainers and fans alike to celebrate the spirit of adventure.

Pokémon Collectible Merchandise

You’re guaranteed to love these Pokémon collectible merchandise, ranging from reversible pouches and a jacket, to a Poké Ball Bucket and sticker sheet. Essentials include gaming chopsticks to keep hungry trainers’ hands spotless while snacking, and a comfy car neck pillow to stay charged up and have lightning-fast reflexes on the road as inspired by Pikachu.

Pokémon Reversible Everyday Blind Pouch (4 Designs)

From 19 August, fans can purchase a Pokémon Reversible Everyday Blind Pouch at $14.95 with each purchase of KFC’s Japanese Nanban Zinger or Chicken Bites Box. Available at all KFC outlets, except for Singapore Zoo and Sentosa, for dine-in or takeaway only. While stocks last.

One moment it’s a Poké Ball, the next, turn it inside out to reveal one of four surprise designs: the OG Pikachu (yellow), the adorable Eevee (brown), the mythical Mew (pink), and Snorlax (blue). Poké Ball Bucket

It may be basic, but don’t underestimate the humble Poké Ball, for this KFC Poké Ball is standing at 23cm tall, and opens to store any essential items. Early risers can receive a Pokémon Sticker Sheet, available from 19 August 2026 with the purchase of a Original Recipe Twister Meal with Milo, American Twister Meal with Milo, O.R. Riser Meal with Milo or O.R. Riser with Egg Meal with Milo at KFC Breakfast stores till 11am and valid for dine-in or takeaway, FoodPanda, Grabfood orders.

This features a vibrant collection of fan-favourite Pokémon and iconic motifs, allowing fans to personalise their everyday essentials with a touch of Pokémon magic. Perfect for decorating laptops, notebooks, water bottles, phone cases and more, the special sticker sheet combines playful creativity with collectible appeal.

Time to touch some grass! KFC is also excited to announce a whole slew of in-person events for Pokémon fans, including special activations for players. Pokémon GO – Celebrate in stores with KFC Singapore

From 19 August, all 71 KFC outlets in Singapore will be transformed into PokéStops and Gyms, giving Trainers extra ways to fuel their Mega-themed journey throughout the lead-up and right into the finale weekend. Get ready to spin for exclusive in-game items that you can share with fellow trainers around the world, or battle it out to see if Instinct, Mystic, or Valor will triumph.

New Trainer Journey: Explore the World of Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG)

New to the world of Pokémon TCG? KFC is helping new trainers to start their journey with Pokémon Trading Cards by hosting over 200 tutorial sessions to give participants a headstart to playing the game.

KFC’s Seasonal Offering: Japanese Chicken Nanban

Separately, KFC also unveils its latest seasonal offering, the KFC Japanese Nanban Zinger. This is a delightfully Japanese spin on fried chicken, featuring a crispy and spicy chicken thigh fillet brushed with Nanban sauce – a sweet and tangy soy glaze – the perfect balance of savoury and addictive vinegary notes. Adding to this is a bed of fresh, finely shredded cabbage, and finished with a generous layer of rich, chunky Japanese-style tartar sauce made with onions, chopped eggs and creamy mayo. Held together in a pillowy, toasted brioche bun, every single bite delivers a wonderful contrast of crunchy, juicy, sweet, and tart textures with that kick of heat and indulgence.

Also new is the KFC Japanese Nanban Chicken Bites. The bite-sized fried chicken thigh morsels are brushed in the same appetising Nanban sauce, which seeps so perfectly into the crunchy crust. The juicy bites are then smothered in the rich, chunky Japanese-style egg tartar sauce where every forkful gives a crunchy, juicy, sweet, and tart experience. Every single bite delivers the same bold Japanese-inspired flavours in a perfectly snackable format. You’ll be back for more!

Adding to the feast are KFC Japanese Nanban Loaded Fries, topped with that delicious Nanban glaze and chunky tartar sauce, as well as a colourful duo of purple and golden shells, hiding a deliciously chewy centre beneath, the Sweet Potato Balls that you’ll love mochi-much!
