Serving up more than just quality brews, O’Coffee Club has an extensive menu offering sumptuous meals at any time of the day. Highly recommended by the men in white is the Honey Glazed Chicken ($16.90), a tantalising dish featuring French onion-crusted succulent chicken marinated with honey, lime and chilli and served with mashed potatoes.
Another deep-sea diver offering sure to make tastebuds run riot is the Slipper Lobster Linguine ($18), a wicked combination of linguine, freshly-sweet slipper lobster together with an irresistibly piquant fresh tomato sauce.
On rainy days which all too common this time of year, warm up bodies from the belly out with the Shellfish Bisque ($7.50), a rich brew of lobster and shellfish like clams and mussels.
There’s even something for the tortilla lover, the Mexican Quesadilla with Bolognaise ($9.20) a total tease. Think melted mozzarella cheese and jalapenos, plus a choice of fillings, tucked under crispy tortillas and served with chunky tomato salsa and tossed mesclun salad on the side.
Top the meal off with a Creme Brulee Caramel Latte ($6.80) or Crunchy Hazelnut Blend ($7.80) made with independently-sourced beans roasted on-site.
Alternatively, be spoilt with one of their many Christmas desserts, like the Enchanting White Chocolate Lemon Cream log Cake ($6.20 per slice), or the Delightful Hazelnut Mousse Log Cake ($6.50 per slice). Also unique to the season is the 3-course set meal ($42), with sumptuous starters like the Smoked Duck Salad with Dark Cherry Sauce, Saffron and Pear Chutney as well as the Roasted Pimento Soup.
For the mains, proceed to enjoy either the Aubergine Chutney Crusted Salmon with Cranberry Sauce, or the Lemon Garlic Chicken with Chestnut Mash, Peach, Apricot and Prune Chutney. As it that’s not enough, have saliva drip at the sound – let alone taste – of the Craqueline Nougatine with Soft Chocolate Moulleux and Caramel Ice Cream.
