The King has arrived! Singapore’s largest homegrown pizza chain, Pezzo today announced its latest creation — the first-ever durian charcoal pizza in town.
Named Durian King, the handmade charcoal pizza dough is topped with 100% pure durian flesh of top-grade Mao Shan Wang and D24, and then freshly baked to perfection.
The warm, creamy durian topping boasts brown crispy edges — an innovative way to savour the king of fruits. It will certainly blow your mind this durian season!
The dough is prepared using exclusively blended flour from Europe and active charcoal. When added to pizza dough, the charcoal gives the dough a natural black appearance. It also has numerous health benefits, such as aiding digestion and trapping toxins and chemicals so that the body does not reabsorb them and will flush them out.
Pezzo’s Durian King pizza will be available in limited quantities daily at all Pezzo outlets, except Changi Airport Terminal 2 outlet, from 19 July till mid-August 2017, while stocks last.
It will retail at S$5.90 per slice and S$32.90 for a whole 14″ pan.
