Starbucks has launched Mobile Order & Pay (MO&P), a new feature of the popular Starbucks Singapore mobile application

Available at 32 participating stores including outlets in the Central Business District (CBD), Suntec City and Marina Bay Sands – a concerted effort to further connect with its local customers through different touch points and innovations.

With plans to roll out the feature across Starbucks Singapore outlets island-wide by March 2020, customers can look forward to elevated convenience and speed when placing their orders and enjoy a seamless and effortless retail experience.

This new service allows customers to order their favorite drink, beat the queue and pick up their order at the store with ease. Just as in the store, customers can customize their order as they usually would – with the option to choose the number of espresso shots and make dairy selections. Every order is freshly prepared and ready for pick-up within minutes. On top of that, with Mobile Order & Pay, customers can collect Stars as well as earn and redeem rewards such as free drinks or food with the Starbucks Rewards™ loyalty program, just as they would if they placed their order in the store.

“We are consistently on the lookout for new ways to enhance our retail offerings and experience for our local customers, meeting their needs and wants,” said Patrick Kwok, General Manager, Starbucks Singapore. “We know that our customers here lead extremely busy lifestyles and prioritize convenience and efficiency, so this feature was developed with them in mind. Innovation has always been a key ingredient of Starbucks’ culture and we are ready to take on the challenge of introducing new technologies and tools, like Mobile Order & Pay, to help make our customers’ experience at Starbucks even more enjoyable.”

Starbucks Singapore has labelled 2019 its “Year of Innovation”, kicking off with the launch of its flagship store at Jewel Changi Airport, which offers inventive and unique options to customers such as the four-tap Nitro – only the second one of its kind in Asia – and local touches to its menu that are exclusive to this store, including the nostalgic Milo Chocolate tiramisu and Satay Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich.

This year, Starbucks has also invested in building further partnerships to expand its food and beverage as well as lifestyle products – such as by collaborating with local ice-cream parlor, Udders, to develop Cold Brew ice cream, and vanilla ice cream that is then infused into Starbucks beverages like the Classic Affogato, Cold Brew Float and Cold Brew Malt.

The Mobile Order & Pay feature will be accessible by downloading the Starbucks Singapore mobile app or updating the app for existing members who have downloaded it, available now on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
