HDB launches five BTO projects, offering 3,923 new flats in Choa Chu Kang, Punggol, Sengkang and Tampines with prices from $83,000 for 2 room, $145,000 for 3 room, $229,000 for 4 room and $283,000 for 5 room (exclusive of grants).

Another 4,200 new flats in 7 BTO projects has been launched by HDB today, following its bumper 8,200 flats just two months ago – Waterway Ridges and Waterway Banks in Punggol, Hougang Capeview and Hougang DewCourt, Acacia Breeze @ Yishun, Fajar Spring in Bukit Panjang and Golden Cassia in Bedok.

HDB’s Resale Price Index (RPI) rose from 180.3 in 2nd Quarter 2011 to 187.2 in the 3rd Quarter 2011, an increase of 3.8% over the previous quarter. MND raised the monthly income ceiling to purchase new Executive Condominiums (ECs) from $10,000 to $12,000, for EC projects which were launched for public sale from 15 Aug 2011. With immediate effect, the revised income ceiling of $12,000 will apply to ALL EC projects.
HDB will launch 5,500 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats in September and 4,000 BTO flats in November, raise the Income Ceilings for Citizen Households and Singles; and increase the Supply of Rental Flats for Low-Income Households
HDB’s Resale Price Index (RPI) rose from 174.8 in 1st Quarter 2011 to 180.3 in the 2nd Quarter 2011. This is an increase of 3.1% over the previous quarter.
