Samsung has announced the launch of its Galaxy A (2016) smartphones – the Galaxy A3 (2016) 4G, Galaxy A5 (2016) 4G+ and Galaxy A7 (2016) 4G+.

A recent TNS Smartphone Shopper Survey1 commissioned by Samsung looked at factors influencing smartphone purchase among some Singapore consumers. The survey found that the top five key drivers for smartphone purchase include price, phone features, ease of use, battery life as well as phone design and build. This is in line with key reasons including ‘good camera’, ‘like the phone design’ and ‘trusted Samsung brand’ cited by respondents who purchased the GALAXY A Series phones launched last year.

According to the latest Connected Life study3 conducted by global research consultancy TNS, millennials in Singapore spend almost 3.4 hours a day on their mobile phones. The Samsung Galaxy A (2016) will be available in Black, Gold and Pink Gold, with 16GB[4] storage, at the following recommended retail prices:

The Galaxy A3 (2016) 4G will be available from 16 January 2016 while the Galaxy A5 (2016) 4G+ and Galaxy A7 (2016) 4G+ are expected to be available from 30 January 2016.

Galaxy Note 5 4G+ in Pink Gold
Samsung today also announced the retail availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 4G+ in Pink Gold, adding another stunning colour variant to its latest flagship phablet series. Currently available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Silver Titanium, this new addition exudes the classic stylishness of the Galaxy Note series, embodying the brand’s design legacy in marrying beauty and purpose in a device.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 4G+ in Pink Gold will be available from 23 January 2016 with 32GB4 and 64GB4 storage options at the recommended retail prices of $988 and $1,088 respectively.
The Galaxy A (2016) and Galaxy Note 5 4G+ will be available at local telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics stores, authorised retailers and Samsung Experience Stores.
