NOTE: Uber requires you to provide debit/credit card information when signing up. This is because Uber charges your card automatically once you complete a ride – no fumbling for the exact amount from your wallet; just get off and go and Uber will take care of the billing and e-mail you a receipt.

Just tap your Uber app to request your uberTAXI. Your driver will enter the fare minus booking fee into their Uber Driver App and you’ll receive your emailed receipt.

‘No booking fees’ with uberTAXI is valid from 00:00AM 1 January until 15 of January 2015 11.59PM. Rides ending after this time will be charged normal booking fees
