Uber has cut the Minimum Fare for its UberX economy service

The minimum fare has been dropped from $5 to just $3.50. The minimum fare was at $8 $8 before Jun 2015

This is in addition to the new pricing structure that was effective from 29 May: $3.50 Base Fare + $0.50/km + $0.25/minute
