March 2025’s first Certificate of Entitlement (COE) Open Bidding Exercise closes with mixed results
The latest COE bidding exercise, which concluded on 5 March 2025 at 16:00, saw premiums increasing across most vehicle categories, reflecting the competitive landscape of Singapore’s vehicle market.
While Categories B, C, D, and E experienced price hikes, Category A was the sole exception, recording a slight dip of $120. The new COE price for this category stands at $92,730, compared to the previous $92,850.

Breakdown of COE Categories
Category A: Includes non-fully electric cars with engines up to 1,600cc and power output up to 97kW (130bhp), along with fully electric cars up to 110kW (147bhp).
Category B: Covers non-fully electric cars exceeding 1,600cc or producing more than 97kW (130bhp), as well as fully electric cars surpassing 110kW (147bhp).
