COE premiums rose across all categories after the 8 Jul 2026 bidding exercise ๐
The latest Certificate of Entitlement (COE) bidding exercise in Singapore closed at 4:00pm on 8 Jul 2026.
Compared with the immediately preceding June 2026 second bidding exercise, all five COE categories recorded increases. Category B saw the biggest dollar increase, while Category D motorcycles had the smallest rise in absolute terms.
COE results at a glance ๐
All figures below are in Singapore dollars (S$). The difference is calculated as new COE premium minus previous COE premium.
| Category | Vehicle Type | Previous COE (S$) | New COE (S$) | Difference (S$) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | Cars โค 1,600cc & โค 97kW; EVs โค 110kW | 123,847 | 129,000 | +5,153 ๐น |
| B | Cars > 1,600cc or > 97kW; EVs > 110kW | 123,502 | 130,889 | +7,387 ๐น |
| C | Goods Vehicles & Buses | 93,001 | 95,000 | +1,999 ๐น |
| D | Motorcycles | 9,989 | 10,201 | +212 ๐น |
| E | Open Category (Excl. Motorcycles) | 129,002 | 129,801 | +799 ๐น |
Note: Previous COE refers to the immediately preceding bidding exercise ๐.
The across-the-board increase means vehicle buyers may face a higher entry cost when budgeting for a new car, motorcycle, goods vehicle or bus. COE premiums are only one part of total ownership cost, so it remains useful to factor in road tax, insurance, financing, servicing, fuel or charging costs, and any dealer package before committing to a purchase.
