Second COE Exercise, June 2025
The second Certificate of Entitlement (COE) bidding exercise for June 2025 concluded at 4:00 PM on 18 June, with premiums rising across most categories, reflecting continued demand pressures in Singapore’s vehicle market.

In the latest bidding results, four of five categories posted price hikes. The only exception was Category D for motorcycles, which saw a small dip.

Category B registered the steepest rise of $3,670, indicating sustained interest in larger-capacity or high-powered vehicles. Meanwhile, Category A crept up by $1,125, and the Open Category increased by nearly $3,000. Goods vehicles and buses under Category C also saw premiums climb by $3,000. Only motorcycle COEs decreased, by $400.
COE Categories Explained
Category A covers cars with engine capacities up to 1,600cc and no more than 97kW (130bhp). It also includes fully electric vehicles up to 110kW (147bhp).
Category B includes more powerful cars over 1,600cc or with output above 97kW, including EVs exceeding 110kW.
Category C is allocated for goods vehicles and buses.
Category D is strictly for motorcycles.
Category E serves as a flexible open category, usable for any vehicle type except motorcycles.
