Category D saw the steepest percentage decrease, with the motorcycle premium dropping 2.83% or S$355 to S$12,201. Category A eased by S$1,119 to S$131,890, while Category C declined by S$957 to S$92,144.

Historical context and recent trend milestones ๐
This is the first COE bidding exercise since 4 Feb 2026 in which premiums have fallen across all five categories. Category A’s S$131,890 remains historically elevated: it is S$1,119 below the record S$133,009 reached on 9 Sep, but still S$2,890 above the former S$129,000 record set on 8 Jul.
The latest result also breaks two notable upward streaks. Category D had risen for five consecutive exercises from S$9,989 on 17 Jun to S$12,556 on 9 Sep before easing to S$12,201, while Category E had risen for six consecutive exercises from S$129,000 on 4 Jun to S$137,890 on 9 Sep before slipping to S$137,000.
