Here are the traffic arrangements for 2011 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX from 21 September 2011 to 27 September 2011 from LTA.

A series of road closures affecting the Marina Centre area will take place from 21 September 2011 to 27 September 2011 to facilitate the setting up and dismantling of the race infrastructure.

This year, motorists will be able to access the Marina Centre area during the road closure period, without the need for vehicle passes. All motorists will be able to enter the area through a single-lane along Nicoll Highway and Raffles Boulevard to get to the car parks of the various buildings within the Marina Centre area during ongoing roads closures between 10am and 5pm as well as between 10pm and 6am on 21 to 23 September and 26 September. This single lane will also open from midnight to 1pm on race weekend, 24 and 25 September.

Besides the single-lane, motorists can also enter the area via Temasek Boulevard from the ECP slip road to Rochor Road throughout the day. However, should traffic volumes be unusually high, access via these two routes may be regulated based on prevailing traffic conditions.

Visitors to the Marina Centre area are strongly encouraged to take the MRT, which will continue to be in operation during the road closures.
