National Day Parade 2018 will be held at The Float @ Marina Bay.
Highlights of NDP 2018 include the traditional Parade & Ceremony segment, which will see the largest number of participants and the largest military tattoo display for an NDP held at the floating platform, the return of a crowd-favourite – the Combined Schools Choir, and an aerial flypast and display by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) in commemoration of RSAF’s 50th anniversary.
The show segment will seek to excite with a visually captivating and rousing experience featuring mass displays, special effects and active audience participation, tied together through films interwoven throughout the show to tug at Singapore’s heartstrings.
Ticket Application – Key Dates
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can apply for tickets to the two Previews and National Day Parade (NDP) from 23 May to 3 June.
Successful applicants will be notified from 25 June to 2 July 2018 via SMS through the contact number provided in their application. Successful applicants may collect their tickets from 6 to 8 July and 13 to 15 July 2018, between 10am and 7pm, at the National Gallery Singapore (1, St. Andrew’s Road, Singapore 178957).
NDP Show dates:
- National Day Parade (NDP) 2018 Preview 1 – 28 July 2018
- National Day Parade (NDP) 2018 Preview 2 – 4 August 2018
- National Day Parade (NDP) 2018 – 9 August 2018
Ticket Application – Options
Applicants can choose to apply for two, four or six tickets to Preview 1 on 28 July 2018, Preview 2 on 4 August 2018, or NDP on 9 August 2018.
Applicants should note that the lower the number of tickets applied for, the higher the chances of obtaining them.
Ticket Application – Process
Applicants may apply for tickets via the following modes:
Internet
- Step 1: Log on to the official NDP website at www.ndp.org.sg.
- Step 2: Fill in all the fields as prompted on the screen before submitting the application form.
SAM / AXS Stations
- Step 1: Visit any SAM and AXS stations. The locations of SAM and AXS stations can be found at www.singpost.com.sg and www.axs.com.sg respectively.
- Step 2: Fill in all the fields as prompted on the screen before submitting the application form.
Short Message Service (SMS)
- Step 1: Go to ‘Create Message’ under the SMS function of your mobile phone.
- Step 2: Key in your details in the format below and send it to 71715 to apply for the tickets.

Balloting results
Individuals who were successful in the ticket ballot will receive an SMS or call to the number provided in the balloting form between 25 June 2018 and 02 July 2018 (no checking required).
The balloting formula is confidential. However, applicants who apply for fewer tickets have better odds of being successful than those who apply for more tickets. For example, applicants who apply for two tickets will stand a better chance than those who apply for six tickets.
Ticket Application – Terms & Conditions
Each applicant is limited to ONE application regardless of the mode used. The modes of application are the NDP website, AXS/SAM machines, and SMS. If an applicant uses more than one mode to make an application, only the latest application will be entered for e-balloting when the application period ends on 4 June 2018. All earlier applications will be voided.
The ticket allocation process will prioritise Singapore Citizens and applicants who were not allocated tickets for NDP 2017. Tickets will be allocated via an electronic ballot system supported by NCS Pte Ltd, and audited by KPMG Service Ptd Ltd. Tickets are NOT allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The balloting results are final and there will be no appeals.
The applicant hereby agrees that the NDP 18 Executive Committee may collect, use and disclose his or her personal data, as provided in the application form, for the purposes of:
- (i) Facilitating the electronic-balloting process
- (ii) Informing the applicant in the event of a successful application
- (iii) Record keeping
- (iv) Sending notifications authorised by the NDP 18 Executive Committee to the applicant
- (v) Facilitating the distribution of tickets
- (vi) Any other purpose reasonably related to the above.
All tickets for the NDP Preview 1, the NDP Preview 2, and NDP are strictly not to be sold for any gain, monetary or otherwise.
Each ticket admits one spectator to the parade, children (inclusive of infants) must hold a valid ticket to be admitted to the parade.
The NDP 18 Executive Committee reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time at their sole and absolute discretion without notice. These terms and conditions and all its subsequent variations shall be subject to and governed by the laws of Singapore.
