NDP 2025 at The Padang

Singaporeans can now apply to attend the National Day Parade 2025, which will be held at the iconic Padang. Here’s everything you need to know about the application process, eligibility, and what to expect if you’re selected.

When to Apply

Ticket applications for the National Day Parade 2025 will be open from 28 May 2025 (Wednesday), 12:00pm (SGT) to 9 June 2025 (Monday), 12:00pm (SGT).

This ballot system is open exclusively to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents. Applications must be submitted online via Singpass.

Application Process

Applicants can visit https://go.gov.sg/ndp2025tickets to submit their ballot. Access to the application form is through Singpass, which auto-fills personal details via MyInfo, streamlining the process and protecting against phishing scams involving fake forms.

Each applicant is allowed to select 2, 4, or 6 tickets and will receive only one ballot chance. If multiple entries are submitted, only the most recent application will be considered valid; previous entries will be voided.

The ticket ballot is not based on a first-come-first-served system. Successful applications are randomly selected after the application window closes.

Choose from Three NDP 2025 Shows:

  • NDP Preview 1 – 26 July (Saturday)
  • NDP Preview 2 – 2 August (Saturday)
  • National Day Parade – 9 August (Saturday)

Ticketing Rules and Requirements

Each ticket permits entry for one individual only. All attendees, including infants, must present a valid ticket to gain entry.

Applicants acting on behalf of someone else will need that person’s full name, NRIC, contact number, and email address. Once the form is submitted, a confirmation will be sent via SMS (from gov.sg) and email (from info@plumber.gov.sg).

Announcement of Successful Ballot Results

Results will be communicated from 20 to 25 June 2025 (Friday to Wednesday). Those selected will be notified via SMS and email from official senders: gov.sg (SMS) and info@mail.postman.gov.sg (email).

Ticket Collection Details

Successful applicants can collect their tickets on these dates:

  • 4 to 6 July 2025
  • 11 to 13 July 2025

Venue: Bugis+, Level 2, Main Atrium

Please bring along your NRIC and the redemption letter received via gov.sg SMS. If collecting tickets on someone else’s behalf, bring a copy of their NRIC and the redemption letter, in addition to your own NRIC.

Why is NDP using Singpass for Ticketing Application?
NDP has added Singpass to:
(1) enhance convenience for users by using Singpass MyInfo for automated form filling; and
(2) reduce fraudulent attempts to obtain personal information through counterfeit application forms.

Does the number of tickets I apply for affect my chances of success?
Yes, your chances of success are higher when you ballot for fewer tickets.

Can I apply to ballot for tickets on behalf of my family or friends?
Yes, you may indicate their personal details (Name, NRIC, mobile number, and email address) of your family members or friends in the application form after logging in with Singpass.

What is the seating capacity for NDP 2025 at the Padang, and how does it compare to the Floating Platform or the National Stadium?
The seating capacity for NDP at Padang this year is 27,000, which is comparable to the seating capacity for previous NDPs at the Padang.

Can I bring a non-citizen/non-PR to attend NDP?
Anyone who attends NDP must have a ticket. You can bring your friends or loved ones with you if they have a ticket.

What is the minimum age to ballot for NDP Tickets?
The minimum age requirement is 15 years old and must have a valid Singpass account.

Where can I buy NDP tickets?
NDP tickets are only allocated through balloting and are strictly NOT FOR SALE. Any attempts to sell the tickets will result in them being rendered void. Actions will be taken against offenders.

Can I pass my tickets to others if I cannot attend the shows?
Yes, you can pass your tickets to others if you are unable to attend the show. However, please exercise caution to ensure that the tickets are not misused.

Is it free seating at the Padang?
No, seating at the Padang will be allocated by the ushers.

Will I be notified if I was not successful in my application?
Due to the high volume of applications received, they will only notify successful applicants. The focus is on informing the successful applicants to ensure a smooth and efficient ticket allocation process.

I’m wheelchair-bound, is the parade wheelchair accessible?
The National Day Parade is inclusive and t hhey ave made provisions for wheelchair-bound individuals to join in the celebrations. On the day of the event, you may approach the ushers who will guide you to the seating via the priority lane. Your family / loved ones will be able to sit near you.
